Lawrence J. Skoglund
Lawrence Skoglund is a shareholder with Erstad & Riemer, P.A. His areas of concentration include civil litigation, legal malpractice, personal injury defense, and products liability.
Born in Sioux City, Iowa, Mr. Skoglund earned his law degree from Duke University in 1974. He is admitted to practice in the Federal and Minnesota Courts.
During law school, he worked as an intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Raleigh, North Carolina. Mr. Skoglund was a trial attorney in the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office prosecuting felony matters.
Mr. Skoglund then practiced with the Minneapolis law firm of Lang, Pauly & Gregerson, handling general litigation and surety defense. He joined the firm of Chadwick, Johnson & Condon, P.A. in 1982, where he practiced until the founding of Erstad & Riemer, P.A.
As an alumnus of Duke University, Lawrence will always be a big Blue Devil basketball fan. His daughter is carrying the tradition and currently attending Duke. Lawrence also enjoys traveling, reading and sports.
