Kyle Kustermann is a shareholder with Erstad & Riemer, P.A. He specializes in the area of workers’ compensation defense and employment law. He was admitted to the bar in Minnesota in 2000 and South Dakota in 2001. He is licensed to practice in all Minnesota state and federal courts, as well as the state courts in South Dakota.

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Mr. Kustermann received his B.A. degree from the University of St. Thomas in 1997. He attended William Mitchell College of Law and graduated Cum Laude in 2000.

Mr. Kustermann practiced insurance defense with Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson and Hager, P.A. and labor and employment law with Seaton, Beck, Peters, Bowen & Feuss, P.A. before joining Erstad & Riemer, P.A. in 2006. He has experience representing clients before both trial and appellate courts and has spoken at continuing legal education seminars focused on both employment law and workers’ compensation defense matters.

In 2009 Minnesota Law & Politics  recognized Kyle Kustermann as a Rising Star®.  Rising Stars® are recognized as the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state of Minnesota and must be under 40 years of age, or have been practicing law for 10 years or less.
