Jeffrey B. Nelson

Jeffrey Nelson is a shareholder with Erstad & Riemer, P.A. He concentrates his practice in workers’ compensation law with an emphasis on employee fraud.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Mr. Nelson earned his law degree from the University of Minnesota in 1972. He is admitted to practice in the Federal and Minnesota Courts.

He practiced as a workers' compensation attorney for the State of Minnesota and defended the State in workers’ compensation cases. He was named workers' compensation counsel to the Department of Labor and Industry and Settlement Judge in the Workers’ Compensation Division. He returned to private practice in 1982, focusing on workers’ compensation defense litigation.

Mr. Nelson is a culinary expert and loves the theatre. He also enjoys traveling to Europe and has a fondness for Italy.
